At Montgomery College, our greatest impact begins with our people.

Celebration of Excellence 2026 brings our College community together to recognize these contributions and to honor the extraordinary work happening across our College.

This year’s theme, “This Is What Extraordinary Looks Like,” reflects our shared commitment to delivering an exceptional education and achieving extraordinary outcomes for our students and community.

Event Overview

Date: Wednesday, May 20
Location: Germantown Campus, HT Building, Globe Hall

Part I — Celebration of Excellence Awards Program

Time: Continental breakfast at 8 a.m. | Program 9–11 a.m.

A formal recognition program celebrating the achievements of MC faculty, staff, and administrators. The program centers on employee award presentations and includes presidential remarks and a student performance to open the celebration.

Part II — Extraordinary Together: Employee Appreciation Fair

Time: 11 a.m.–noon

An informal, College-wide gathering that provides space to celebrate colleagues, connect across our locations, and enjoy a shared moment of appreciation following the program.
