Strategic plansnew window support long-term aspirations with more near-term goals and actions. Therefore, the current Strategic Plan is organized around four interlocking Goals that reflect both Transformational Aspirations and the mission and vision of the college. In order to create a college going culture, serve as the community’s institution of choice, and transform lives, we will strive to connect with the community (Goal 1), ensure everyone feels a sense of belonging (Goal 2), and provide an effective educational experience (Goal 3), so that students and their communities experience a positive economic impact (Goal 4). These Goals will be actualized by implementing Supporting Strategies that will lead to critical Intended Outcomes that we will track by measuring standardized Indicators.
Throughout Academic Year 2025, members of the College community envisioned and created the new Academic Master Plan 2025-2029new window. Surveys, focus groups, roundtables, and conversations with governance have produced a plan that reflects on how the Academic Affairs Division will strengthen foundational elements and accelerate our path toward enrollment growth and program development in the future. This plan is focused on the experience and outcomes of those we are here to serve: our students. The Academic Master Plan 2025-2029 document is linked on this page as a soft launch for members of the College community to preview and enjoy. A collegewide launch of the Academic Master Plan 2025-2029 will occur when faculty return for the start of the new academic year.
The Student Affairs Master Plannew window (StAMP) supports the mission of the College by assisting students in achieving their educational goals. The purpose of the StAMP is to guide the work of the Student Affairs Division over the next five years. The initiatives are intended to enhance the student experience and address the varied and evolving needs of our students. Student Affairs Division faculty and staff work collaboratively to create a supportive educational environment that leads to successful student outcomes.
The Office of Inclusive Excellence and Belongingnew window at Montgomery College upholds a culture that values civil discourse, a safe environment for sharing, and one that observes, measures, and rewards success so that we can create an extraordinary educational institution. Montgomery College’s Board of Trustees adopted an Antiracism Goal, which will “Promote social justice, radical inclusion, and racial equity within the College and the broader community and continue the Board focus on the journey to being an antiracist institution.”
We will promote and create a working and learning environment rooted in the basic tenets of fairness, diversity, and inclusiveness.
