Call for MC Commencement Volunteers
Montgomery College faculty and staff can be a part of this year’s commencement. Attire is black pants/skirt, staff t-shirt, and comfortable shoes. Please email events new window to arrange a time to pick up your t-shirt and lanyard at the CT building from May 11-15.

FACULTY/STAFF LINE-UP
Location: GITE Auto Bays
Time: 8:15–10 a.m.
Tasks:
- Assist faculty/staff/administrators with regalia.
- Line-up faculty/staff/administrators for procession.
COMMENCEMENT TENT
Location: Commencement Tent
Time: 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Tasks: Direct guests to seats, restrooms, first aid stations, and water stations.
GUEST ENTRANCE/TICKET SCANNER
Location: Guest Entrance
Time: 7:30–11 a.m.
Tasks: Welcome guests, scan tickets, direct guests to commencement tent or alternative viewing
locations (small gym, PAC, and TAA).
STUDENT INVOLVEMENT
Location: Main Gymnasium
Time: 7:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
Tasks:
- Personal Assistants: Assist students in ‘looking good’ and lining-up.
- Ushers: Assist students with processing and into the student seating area.
CAMPUS VOLUNTEER
Location: Throughout Campus
Time: 8:30–11:30 a.m.
Tasks:
- Direct guests to commencement tent or alternative viewing locations (small gym, PAC, and TAA), etc.
RECEPTION/PHOTO AREA
Location: Becker Family Quad
Time: 10:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
Tasks:
- Welcome guests, assist with photos, assist with crowds and directions.
- Setup/breakdown: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Assist with photos: noon–2 p.m.
