Green Training and Technology at MC

Classes vary by term, check the current schedule for course availability. Some classes are available for credit toward a degree, or taken through WDCE / GITE as noncredit courses for students wishing to update their skills without worry of a grade. 

Take a Class (WDCE): 

  • GRN-007, Environmental, Social & Financial Sustainability, Introduction
  • GRN-005, LEED Green Associate Exam Prep

Learn a Skill at the Gudelsky Institute of Technology (GITE):

  • TTG 514, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Technologies
  • TTG 521, Solar PV Design and Installation
  • TTG 537,  Advanced Solar PV Design

Earn a Degree or Certificate:

Visit Environmental Management and Sustainability (Applied Technologies)  to learn about Environmental Horticulture AAS Degree or a Environmental Horticulture Certificate. 

Industry Credentialing, Certifications and Licensing: 

Students taking these classes or enrolling in these degree programs may find that the next step in their careers is to earn an industry credential in these related topics: Commercial Pesticide Applicators License, Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist, National Green Infrastructure Certificate, Professional Turfgrass Fertilizer Applicator Certificate, Licensed Tree Expert.
